Check out EdModo.com

Some of our school staff have started using edmodo.com. It's a great tool for both teachers and students to connect outside of the classroom, almost like an online classroom. See what you think:

New Year, New Resolutions... in P.E.!

To start up 2012, all of our students started thinking about resolutions. What is a resolution? What does it involve? Do you have to have a plan? How will I reach my resolution?

CCA 4th, 5th, and 6th graders each created their own resolution related to physical activity and health. They wrote these resolutions as well as two "plans" to reach that resolution on a paper shape (heart, football helmet, ball, track shoe, or baseball glove). They handed in their resolutions anonymously and will be working to reach these resolutions. The resolutions will be hung around the gym to remind them of their determination right now.

In June, we will look to see how many resolutions/goals we successfully reached!
